NASCARS GORDON WINS AGAIN

Sundays NASCAR race at the Darlington Raceway added another victory to Jeff Gordon’s growing numbers. It is becoming reminiscent of the late 90’s and early 2000’s for him. Hendricks Motorsports seems to have the “Car of Tomorrow” figured out. They have won all the races in which the new car has run… With drivers Gordon, Jimmy Johnson and Kyle Busch. Many people are saying they are sick of HMS winning but the cream always rises to the top… Their drivers are some of the best in a very exclusive drivers club called NASCAR.

NASCAR Fans Cited

14 fans were cited for disorderly conduct after throwing objects onto the race track at the conclusion of the Aarons 499 race where driver Jeff Gordon not only won but also broke the record of numbers of wins of the late great Dale Earnhardt Sr.Fans were warned by the Talladega track officials before the race started that these actions would not be tolerated.

According to an article in MSNBC.com Grant Lynch Talladega president is going to try and ban these 14 from every buying tickets to a race again. The article stated he would be contacting other tracks to see if they will support this effort.

Many true NASCAR fans are dismayed with this kind of behavior and would like to see it stopped before someone is hurt.

Gordon ties NASCAR great

Jeff Gordon won the Phoenix International Raceways NASCAR race on Sunday and in so doing he tied the Late great Dale Earnhardt in number of races won

After he crossed the finish line he got a # 3 flag from his crew chief and flew it in tribute to the man whose number of wins he just tied.

When he reached the winners circle Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran over to congratulate him on his achievement.

This win was Gordon’s first Phoenix NASCAR win, he had previously won the Busch race at Phoenix. Jeff Gordon has won 4 NASCAR Championships and Earnhardt Sr. won 7.
